Earlier today I placed a proposal in the UN archrives. It basicly says that a nation is better off with out crime and supports a military budget increase. This forum is to discuss the effects of this proposal. Check out the proposal 'No more crime- no more problems' at the UN today.

The goal of all countries is to eliminate crime isn't it? I don't know any country that supports crime... Anyways passing a resolution won't just stop all crime, there will always be the unstable person who goes crazy.

Our enlightened policies have led to street crime but also to an otherwise high standard of living and vast social freedoms.
If this is a tradeoff, we are willing to pay the price.

I have found it wonderful to live in a nation where crime is unknown. No, it didn't take much to make it this way either. By increasing the military and police budgets the crime in my nation went down the drain and The Burninating is now a much more safe place.
I ask that all UN nations support me in this and increase their military and police budgets as well. A Crime-Free nation is like paradise!
I don't see any given reason to increase our military spending.

Crime or a criminal act is, by it's very nature, doing something that in a sense is already banned.
You are suggesting to ban something that is already banned, it seems to me what you realy want is a military budget increase. I will not support that.
