Why do they deserve "special" rights?

They have the same rights as anyone else, and everyone else has the same rights as them. Anything else is evil, and will likely result in slavery for everyone else.

I agree. Amazing how many socialists abandon the whole idea of equal rights when it suits their own purposes.

guys, you're missing the freaking point. this gives more power in the workplace to the workers and takes it outta the hands of greedy bosses. It's not meant to give special rights to anyone. These rights only work in the workplace and anything that has to do with work and business. this does not effect people in everyday society. this is a big step for the worker.

Workers' rights in the workplace are protected by contracts. This is how the world works.

Well.... I had a really good argument citing the French Revolution... but it went away to the place where lost posts go.... so.

I am fundamentally in agreement with this resolution, though there are some fine points that need revision.

Full health care benefits? What about those small companies that cannot afford such practices?

anyone above the age to work may retire or refuse to work if they wish and may not be forced to do strenous company labor for anyone or labor as such

What is the age to work?

CEOs may not get millions and millions of dollars more than a worker for sitting on his butt all day doing nothing. CEOs must be given and only receive the same amount of money as the workers or less, depending on how much it is.

A little on the extreme side? Call me naive, but some CEOs have worked from the creation of the company to reach the position that they have. Though I agree that the pay equity is much too unbalanced, I disagree with the radical action proposed by this clause. After all, not all workers get paid the same amount even. What would be the standard?

Giving the CEO 7xthe top workers' salary (Say, $50K worker = $350K boss) has worked. It rewards and attracts leadership and incidentally gives an incentive for a high wage scale.
