I think that I've endorsed multiple proposals to legalize fireworks in the past couple days. Not sure if yours is one of them.

Fireworks are already legal in Nevermoore, but for only professional companies that put on displays for our cities during various holidays.

I say we should let individual nations decide if they want to let mini-bombs explode over their nation so people can "Oooo!" and "Ahhh!".

Fireworks should be legal anywhere that isn't inside.

That is all.

Although we in Gurthark would like to note that amateur firework displays are a common cause of grievous injury to those that put them on, this is not our objection to them; if an adult, under informed consent, wants to perform a terribly risky action, that is their business.

But launching fireworks into the air on a dry summer day, if you aren't *extremely* sure where they will come down (which you cannot be without extensive training), is the equivalent of tossing a Molatov cocktail out of an airplane window. While we in Gurthark support your right to hurt yourself, if you really insist, we do not support your right to harm others.

Some fireworks--those that will not hurt anyone but the person setting them off, which in practice means those that do not travel--are already legal in Gurthark, although they are required to sport visible warning labels. Those that, in the wrong hands, are a public menace are only available to certified professionals.

Sincerely,

Fireworks are also already legal in this fiefdom, however the purchaser must be of legal age and they are only widely distributed on special holidays.

Also, amusement parks and such are also licensed to put on firework displays over water.

I would not disagree with this particular proposal, though I feel it slightly frivolous... but meh.

Does that include all explosives?

Does that include all explosives?

Why not?

I think fireworks should be endorsed for the purposes of enjoyment. Not indoors, of course...

good points. Of course I doubt that it will become a resolution, so I don't see any reason to dis-endorse it as of yet.

Why do we need fireworks if we have military grade explosives?
