The Most Serene Republic of Maiway in the Nation States region, says to VOTE NO on the Humor resolution...This resolution, if you think about it, could cause serious abridgement of the rights of nations to set their own standards and could cause the decline of freedom of speech worldwide.
VOTE NO TO HUMOR RESOLUTION!!!
I see no threat in the Humor resolution, but I see no point to it either. The first part of it just reinforces free speech, which makes it meaningless in any nation that has free speech. Then it allows exceptions for moral standards, which can include anything basically, making it meaningless in nations without free speech who will use the opening to ban everything. Pointless resolution. There is no need to waste space in our law books.
