Deleted proposals
I have read and understand all the grounds for the deletion of proposals, but I am certain neither of mine fit into those categories, but they were deleted anyway. I know that they weren't offensive and had nothing to do with the mechanics of the game, so I was just wondering if there was any other grounds for the deletion of proposals?
(Please note I am not complaining, just curious)
Could you describe one or both of the proposals briefly? Sometimes proposals can involve game mechanics in fairly subtle ways (for example, a proposal to repeal another resolution counts as a game mechanics proposal). And, of course, offensiveness is in the eye of the beholder, and the beholders that matter here are the game mods.

I don't remember exactly what I typed, but the two were pretty much the same, just effecting different topics.
One was a strong proposition for promoting free trade, the other for military spending.

Maybe that's why-- proposals get deleted if the text doesn't match the category. You say you submitted the same proposal under 2 categories? The other reason could be that they were duplicative.
I don't remember deleting any proposals by you, Tokarev. More to the point, you would've received a telegram explaining what happened if they had been deleted.
The only suggestions I can offer are:
1. The proposals expired of their own accord after spending however long it is in the queue.
2. Another mod deleted them (ominous music)

We can relate to Swimmington's question. Recently, we proposed a tourism library to increase trade, and it simply disappeared after a day. We never received a telegram or an email explaining what had happened. Our idea was meant to be more of an imaginery tourism agency than a list (like the World Heritage List). We felt that if the WHL could pass through, then so could our resolution. We'd love to know what happened to it.
