I have just now submitted a new proposal titled, "Non-harassment for viewpoints". Lets see if this one will make it to the end of the time alloted and hope it gets endorsed by many. I think it just might.

Interesting resolution. However, don't we already have a freedom of speech resolution passed? Also, if you are referring to modeation in the forum discussions, the mods more or less take care of offensive posters.

This is not a freedom of speech propsal. It is a proposal designed to keep flaming and othe types of abuse towards other players under control.
If it's just a nice vague resolution, then there's nothing wrong with it. The problem is that if it's designed as an anti-flame measure, then it becomes a game mechanics issue.
