I just made a Proposal about relaxing Gun Control! Check it out using the new Proposal Search! I really need your help to get this passed as a Resolution at Vote, since my other one isn't doing so well.

Why would we want to relax gun control laws? Surely that would lead to more people using guns which would be a bad thing.

We've been through this already.
Criminals by definition don't follow the law.
Stricter gun laws will put the government above the law.
Ownership of guns by the citizen population is the 'force' that backs the Rule of Law.

Criminals with guns are far more dangerous than criminals without guns. Even if criminals do not want to obey the law they are going to have a much harder time finding weapons if they are controlled by the state. Remember this includes potential criminals too.
