Halt of Previous Resolutions
A resolution to increase the quality of the world's environment, at the expense of industry.

Category: Environmental Industry Affected: All Businesses Proposed by: Jennivier
Description: It should be known that from this point on, all previous environmental resolutions are edradicated. This includes, and is limited to the following resolutions:

I: Hydrogen Powered Vehicles

II: Oceanic Waste Dumping

III: Replanting Trees

IV: MANDATORY RECYCLING

It should be known that as a sovereign member state you reserve the right to control your nation's status in the world today. It also known that such resolutions affect business, mainly private sectors, and that business tends to be the heart of modern nations. Knowing this:

ALL environmental resolutions up until this point are now optional.

ALL effects of these previous resolutions are to be removed from ALL member nations ASAP.

Nations, from this point on, shall make it their own duty to control evironmental laws and regulations in their state. and;

ALL environmental resolutions from this point on are now optional to member states.

With this any and all member states reserve the right to manage their private sectors without interference from the UN. The UN is to further democracy, not hender a nation.

This is currently located on page 12. I would appreciate any and all approvals of it. This is, of course, to make them optional and remove their affects, not to stop or ban environmental resolutions.

I like the idea of being able to pick and choose resolutions which apply and all... but frankly we do have a choice already. If we don't want to implement these resolutions, we can leave the UN.

Oh dear.

Good thing it won't pass since it is in the wrong category and seeks to change the game.

Oh dear.

Good thing it won't pass since it is in the wrong category and seeks to change the game. The optional thing isn't to change the game. It's called RP, it gives a nation the RP right to overule a resolution. The main purpose of this is to remove the damaging effects on private sectors from the previous UN resolutions.

I don't know; what's the purpose of environmental regulation if it isn't comprehensive? It seems like having optional traffic laws.
