Please support the improved Pet Protection Act (included below). As we stipulated in the topic about our original act, these regulations are important because they help ensure the health and safety of a nation's citizens, as well as that of its companion animals.

Recognizing that humans have owned companion animals for thousands of years and that these animals serve an important role in many societies, we hereby resolve that all nations shall establish the following regulations:

1) That all companion animals must wear identification and vaccination tags outside the owner's home
2) That all companion animals must be vaccinated for any disease to which they are susceptible and which can be transferred to humans, if such a vaccine exists.
3) That the owners of all companion animals must adequately meet the basic needs of their companion animals.
4) That no one can abuse a companion animal.
5) That violation of (3) and (4) are felony offenses.

Countries may establish additional regulations as they see fit.

I disagree greatly with this, as I feel the UN should not tell me how to govern my people.

I suppose that if the people are owned by the pets, than the pets must treat this act as if it pertains to companion humans.
