There are kinds of two telegrams from the UN that you can get (that I can remember):
1) Acceptance into the UN: You get this telegram if you applied to join the UN and were accepted. Check your E-mail account for the hyperlink to confirm your entry into the UN; you don't actually join the UN unless you get this E-mail and click on this hyperlink.
2) Compliance with a UN resolution: You get this telegram if you are a UN member and a UN resolution was approved. No action is needed on your part as the necessary adjustments to your nation's numerical statistics have already been made by the NationStates Game Engine. These adjustments are similar in nature to the adjustments made to your national statistics by daily issues.
