Political Individualism 101
A resolution to restrict political freedoms in the interest of law and order.

Category: Political Stability Strength: Strong Proposed by: Barrianinium
Description: The UN’s delegates are now going to far in limiting the power of individualism. The UN has no rite, according to this decree if voted upon by the truly honorable members of this hall, to limit the growth of a nation explained in the following lines.
We push to have this amendment to traditional code hereby enacted. We, as we believe all nations should, feel unity with individualism. We have decided that it is inappropriate for the UN to regulate the individual rights of all countries bound to its halls through enactments that would limit the social, scientific, military, and economic growth of any country. We hereby say that the approval of the UN is not always necessary to proceed with certain acts. The UN has long tried to limit the wartime acts of many nations that hold rite to grudge over other countries. It is time for the UN to stop its limitation of Growth(territorial and non-territorial) of any nation.

This proposal will hereby limit the following powers of the UN.

I. The limitations placed on countries due to the political status of one country.
I.A. The limitation of growth and trade.
I.B. The assumption that a country’s citizens are unhappy with its leadership can only be determined by a scientific expedition led by a UN International force made up of mostly Security Council representatives.

II. The limit placed on scientific research.
I.A. Limiting research limits ability to predict reactions and growth of knowledge.

III. The limit placed on the growth of a nations rite to arms.
I.A. The UN should have no right to say how much is to much unless world society on a
semi-global scale would be altered(IE cultural dissolution)

IV. Limits placed on the efforts of a sovereign nation to clime out of economic debts.

Approvals: 5 (Barrianinium, Polka Fans World Wide, 00ber America, Gemfish, Shimon)

Status: Lacking Support (requires 114 more approvals)

Voting Ends: Fri Oct 17 2003

I am open to your opinions but there is no reason to just flame.

1. Too many spelling errors, for example, you mean "right", not "rite", and "climb", not "clime". Please check your dictionary.

2. Doesn't make sense. What is this proposal about? What are you trying to achieve? Try to express your ideas in a way that is simpler to understand.

3. If you don't like the UN's decisions, all you can really do is to resign.

you are right about the spelling errors(no more writing serious proposals at 2 in the morning) but it still makes perfect sense. The UN is needed for a sense of UNity. But the right to bear arms is held dear to my people and others and I fear that one day this right may be restricted. The UN is simply stepping just a little to far I simply ask for reform. Whats wrong with that? :x

So what your proposal says is "The UN shall make no law restricting the right to bear arms"? What are all those other sentences for then?

You might think it makes perfect sense, but I guarantee you that most people reading it will scratch their heads and think "Huh? What's all this about?"

dont gaurantee anything you cant warranty.

That identifies the bounds of the restrictions. Maybe you are just to preoccupied with spelling for that one, eh? For instance, a psycho decides to make an all powerful army just to kill a random race, then the UN has the right to intervene. It simply restricts the power. LIKE i stated!!

Besides there is not anything wrong with a country making an army to gain land, as long as the people he conquers are fairly treated then whats the big deal. Not every1 is the powerbrooker and not every1 decided its his.her.its own fate.(I know this doesnt involve nation states but still its just another fact)

I urge more people to endorse it. Some of the proposals are absolutely insane.
