Babies and Guns UN Proposal

13-10-2003, 19:52
My new proposal titled "Babies and Guns" is lacking approval from the international community.

The proposal:
All babies at the age of 3 months shall be given extremely light semi automatic weaponry. They will then be given a new breed of rabies that lasts 6 hours and instructions to kill eachother via a new mind control method my nation has developed. The babies shall battle for 6 hours. The winners err.. survivors will be allowed to continue life, the losers that are still alive but injured, shall be brought up as slaves. Oh yeah and every citizen must carry around an assault rifle at all times from the age of 6 and up.

Now everybody quit your whiney liberal bitching and vote this one in. Is Gregoville the only country man enough to approve such an obviously genious idea. Imagine a world where only the strong survive, the babies willing to KILL and die for their countries.. FOR GLORY.. and for CHEESE..

the strong shall live and the weak shall die? dude, thats soooo social darwinism. is there a un law disallowing that yet? im pretty sure we can only be democracies by now. and if anyone tells me "if you dont like it you can quit", tell them being in the un can be a really fun part of the game and i dont want to miss out on it. i just want to make it a bit more normal.

And it got DEATed.

3. Joke Proposals
Every now and then someone decides that making a pun about something (usually "The Right to Arm Bears" or "The Right to Bare Arms") would be clever. Beyond the fact that these jokes have appeared at least 25 times each in the proposal queue, the fact that they're not serious proposals will have them deleted.

Therefore, I make a point of order against this proposal on the grounds that it is a joke proposal.

Nope, it isn't a joke.. It's quite serious and should be voted on ya fucking nazis.

I have a better idea--let's NOT guarantee that everyone will be provided with something that must be created by someone else.

Wait a sec...your main problem with this proposal is not that it involves making babies battle with handguns, but that the handguns are to be provided *free of charge*!? Is this self-satire?
14-10-2003, 00:08
No, it's my opposition.

If a parent wants to give a baby a gun, that's his prerogative--although he better make damn sure the baby doesn't hurt anyone with it. And I doubt a three-month-old baby would have enough physical strength to pull the trigger, but that's irrelevant.
14-10-2003, 03:44
Of course they'll pull the trigger, they're SUPER light guns............... and you completely forget about the mind control my nation has developed that will ensure they aim them at other babies as well as the rabies shots to get them moving..

A nation with such laws would become much like ancient Sparta, which is its prerogative, but hardly a suitable mandate for all other nations.
15-10-2003, 00:11
Wow, it would take one hell of a screwed up, thick headed knob to come out with such a moronic idea.

Sorry, but your history is a little bit off.

Sparta fell because it had isolated many of its key foreign partners. Eventually the Thebans under their brilliant general Epaminondas invaded Spartan-held territory. Sparta had a very low population and the Thebans had developed better battle tactics so they defeated teh Spartans at Leuctra, killing 500 Spartan equals. Then the Thebans, instead of attacking Sparta itself, crossed over the mountains and FREED THE SLAVES, and built the slaves a great fortified city at Messene.

The slaves didn't revolt since they had no weapons and were up against the Krypteia, they were freed by a foreign power.

This proposal is viewed by Godisrightistan as not only impossible, but impossibly stupid as well. Godisrightistan prays for God's wrath to descend upon such collaborators of The Beast, promoters of unholy darwinism and sanctifiers of mass murder of the only true innocents (the children).

This joke proposal isn't any more idiotic than several that have already been passed or considered by the UN, including the one currently under consideration. It has every right to be taken seriously.

I have no sense of humor. I have tried. I even took a class. It didn't work. Suffice to say, jokes are lost on me. Stephanie, can you lock this, and get the proposal deleted please?
