Soviet Amazonia proposes to make it illegal in all countries, including those not members of the United Nations, to imprison people because of race, sexual orientation, or disabilities to prevent countries from imprisoning people because of sexual orientation or disabilities.

The UN has no jurisdiction and should not have any outside the UN.

We , a new member of the UN, would vote to reject the proposal on the grounds that the UN has no mandate on national law, as opposed to international law.

We in Gurthark would support this proposal if you struck out the text, "including those not members of the United Nations." Our objection to that is purely a matter of rules: the U.N. cannot enforce laws in non-member states.
