New Proposal: Minimum I.Q. Requirements for Delegates
There are far too many asinine issues on the dockets, and they occur with depressing frequency. My proposal is that only legitimate governmental issues and/or issues that affect the Global Community should be allowed in this forum. To insure that each nation as the best possible representative, we need a standard test to grade each canidate's I.Q. score. Highest scoring potential delegate should get the post.
This should also reduce the numbers of new wars begun over nothing more than someone's overactive ego.
I also suggest that bigots be disallowed from partiscipation on the basis that they tend not to employ either logic or common sense, which leads to government collapse. This in turn destablizes the world community.
Your hard wards may cause the wrath of the Epidemian people to be pointed at your nation. Temper them or else. :P
The High V is in agreement with the point that there are too many asinine proposals. However The High V would also categorize your idea for an I.Q. test as one of these asinine ideas. Furthermore The High V finds your argument about bigots falacious because of the fact that your proposal for I.Q. tests does not employ logic or common sense.

The ways I see it, there only be two kinds of "proposals" round these here parts anyhow:
The "assinine" kind that looks to take away folks rights to run their countries how they see fit.
And the "whiney" kind that don't do nothin' but complain about the "assinine" kind.
If'n I had my way ya'd BOTH'd just shut the heck up.

Oh, every now and then there's a good one.
"Even a pearl may be hidden in a dungheap".
As with the proposals that would limit running for political offices in NSUN nations to persons with high IQ, I feel that I must ask who shall arbitrate the measuring of applicant's intelligence? What measures would be in place to prevent a test for intelligence from becoming a test for political values in agreement with the supporters of the test?

I would say an intelligent proposer would debate the issue before actually listing it. AND that his arguments would, albeit questionnable, be consistent with the reasoning of the proposal.
