A new U.N. proposal
Instead of normally declaring war, nations should have the option of declaring a war of assasins, in which the nation's peoples would not be at all affected. A war of assasins would only include the warring nation's leaders and hired assasins. This would save civillian and troop lives, as well as resources. And besides, it just sounds cooler 8) .

It would be interesting to have world leaders as costumed wrestlers, too. Would Sadaam beat Dubya one-on-one? It would bring in a terrific gate on pay-per-view.
Legal contests used to be settled in the manner you describe. At first there was trial by combat, in which the plaintiff and defendant literally slugged it out. Thw winner got whatever settlement they had desired, and the loser was dead so no one complained about the system. Later, weak old men were allowed to hire "champions" to represent them, and soon the battles were all between hired warriors.
It would save a lot of bloodshed. It would top reality TV for ratings, too.

Nah, he would hit himself. Friendly fire. Unless he brought in the chair, banned by the UN Council of Wrestling, tho Saddam might have objects of mass destruction.

It would be a lot easier to just legalize bounties. Putting a LARGE U.N. sanctioned price scale on the measure would hit home a whole lot faster. Just make sure the proposal has as many of the small, minute details as possible, post it here and let us have a closer look at exactly what you have in mind.
It does sound like a wonderful way to get rid of a total idiot or two, though.
OK. When I say war of assassins, I mean sending assissination attempts on a leader of another country that you have declared war on. So what is stopping the other country from hosting an all-out war you say? Think about it. If you openly attacked someone and nuked them, its gonna get the person you nuked's allies after you, and you couldn't take on all of them. So this is just a one on one war, or maybe you could include more nations in it, but none of them would want to nuke someone and get their nations destroyed. They'll all be afraid of openly attacking someone. And as I stated before, this will save civilian and your troops lives. Millions of them.
In this I just use nuking to make a point
