International Space Initiative

Is this the wisest of acts for the UN to pass? What safeguards will be put in place to prevent rogue nations from developing their own malicious space programs from the information shared by members of the ISI? The last thing we need is for agressive nations currently lacking a space program to start and build one under the guise of friendship and cooperation.

You are right to question this potential risk. Does not the United Nations face the same risk? How do they handle such situations? With the collective good on one side, it acts as a strong barrier against wrongdoing. It will be most beneficial to the planet if we work as one collective effort, combining what we know.
