Neo-Kitara
30-09-2003, 06:45
Seeing as Neo-Kitara has withdrawn from the UN, and seeing as how numerous arguments are being spurred from the Bill of No Rights, the House-Senate of Neo-Kitara hereby submits the following proposal to the general public as a possible proposal to the United Nations, if a nation capable of doing so wishes to.

We, the politicial leaders of our respected nations, in active session of the United Nations, hereby accept the following proposal and thus add it to the United Nations Resolution List as a passed proposal.

The Bill of Privileges

ARTICLE I: No person is entitled to a guaranteed luxury or form of wealth that is not required by the individual, such as unnecessarily expensive vehicles and housing. It is noted, however, that a person may purchase said items in a legal fashion, and a nation may provide such items if it wishes.

ARTICLE II: No person is entitled to guaranteed health care that is funded by an outside source. HOWEVER, if it is so wished to occur, this proposal does not bar a nation from doing so.

ARTICLE III: No person is entitled to be protected from any and all offense, be it verbal or written. However, one is entitled to protection from physical offense that causes harm to the individual, as long as the individual did not wish it upon him/her/itself.

ARTICLE IV: No person is entitled to be protected from self-inflicted harm through misuse of any item not intended for the job in which it was used, nor is any sentient lifeform entitled to protection from injury directly resulting because of one's own ignorance.

ARTICLE V: No person that is capable of enough work to sustain him/her/itself will be entitled to guaranteed government-paid housing and food.

ARTICLE VI: No person has the right to bar another person's freedom; nor cause another person harm, through both action and inaction; nor willfully take another person's belongings without their knowledge.

ARTICLE VII: No person is entitled to a job that is substantially lower than a job that an individual is capable of accomplishing because of an individual's disinterest in meeting said job's requirements.

ARTICLE VIII: No person has the guaranteed right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. HOWEVER, if one so chooses to pursue these privilages, then through hard work and perseverance, one will most likely gain these privilages.
