Hi below is a proposal i belive should be endorces and enforce it is at the UN it is called "Democracy for the Pacific" i was from the pacific region and now are in the pacific army region after what Francos Spain did so i agree with it.
"Democracy for the Pacific"
A resolution to improve world security by boosting police and military budgets.
Category: International Security Strength: Mild Proposed by: Andinostan
Description: The people of our world deserve quality political leadership through Democracy. One of our planet's largest regions, the Pacific, has been the site of much political upheaval, brought on by the anti-Democratic processes of its dictator, Franco's Spain. (For more information on this issue, see http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=71435)
To resolve this issue legally, the support of the UN is required. Free and fair elections must be held in the Pacific to turn the tide of tyrannical rule. Elections, monitored by the United Nations, must be held. To that end, this body should take the following actions:
1.) Upon passage of this resolution, The Dominion of Franco's Spain will be immediately removed as delegate to the UN from the Pacific.
2.) The nation replacing Franco's Spain will be held to high international standards, including a 72-hour moratorium on banning.
3.) The UN will monitor the situation in the Pacific for two weeks after the deposing of Franco's Spain, to ensure that the power vacuum is not abused. If a dictator takes power in the region, he will be similarly deposed.
4.) A brief history of this event and the rationale for it will be posted in the region's World Factbook Entry, so that all may know of it.
5.) All member nations of this body will devote 5% of their total budget toward the rebuilding effort for a period of 3 days.
Not until tyranny in the nursery of nations is eliminated can our body be safe again.
