This issue has been left in the air for ages. Should homosexuals have the right to be legally wed? For too long they have been denied the pleasures of marrage. You fall in love with the Soul, not the body. Gender preferance should not be an issue when it comes to marrage. However the union of two people should be Between a man and a woman only. Even the bible says marriage is between one man and one woman.

You invoke the Bible in a matter of law (and it doesn't say what you say it does by the way), you say that gender preferance shouldn't be an issue in marriage, but that the union should be between a man and a woman.

Just to point out that since this resolution..
WHEREAS it has been clearly witnessed there is an outspoken minority who wish to oppress gays. We, the People's Republic of Kundu and the other peoples of the world wishing for the preservation of freedom and the respect of all hereby resolve that all member nations of the United Nations must pass laws protecting people from discrimination in all parts of life. We also resolve that gay marriages be protected and endorsed by law in the member nations.
Same sex marriages are leagle in all UN countries. Until a method of repealing UN resolution is implimented this isn't going tobe changing.

You can't opt out of UN resolutions if you are a member - therefore same-sex marriages are legal in your country.
A very edifying discussion on the responsibilities of individual nations in relation to passed UN resolutions in The Forum. In the meantime Wolfish is correct so get over it.
It would be more edifying though if the original 'proposal' made any sense. I am aware we Irish are supposed to have a convoluted sense of logic...but...
I assume you are proposing a ban on same-sex marriage throughout the NS world. Or are you just making a general point by vaguely referring to some outdated old claptrap written aproximately 1900 years ago?
