UN?

What does the UN actually do apart from argue about issues, does it actually get involved in other forums.

Seems like just an argue and prososal pit, seems you have no real strength, i think the UN should be more of a power in NS, at the moment it is nothing.

your opinions?

We the People's Republic Of Amyth do not think the member-states of the NSun have much extra time, what with all the debating, to actually do anything. Besides, do you realise how much debate would go into what to do?

Actually - I take part in all the forums. Right now I have a resolution in the line up, I am fighting a major conflict with Tuttsville, I signed up to be a protector country for newbies, and I'm active in my region, and I am co-founder and professor at the Role Play University.

In RL I hold down a job were I work 10 hours a day.

We the People's Republic Of Amyth also have a similar schedule. Well, we actually dont' participate in the other forums much, and never founded a region, or participate in any wars, but we are active in the NSun forum, our region, and work 50 hours a week. However, from the debate we see in the NSun we don't believe that the NSun could from a consesus on any issue without constant debate for about... forever...

Just like the real-world UN or other large government body.

It actually depends on the individual nations. Some people frequent many forums. Some people just want to play war. I, personally, am more interested in dabate and a more "realistic" approach to politics, so I stay out of the NS and War forums. Too much jabbering and saber-rattling to me.
