We would like to propose the following at the UN:

All UN Member Nations shall recognize the legal status of all persons who have undergone sex-reassignment surgery as identical to the status of those persons born in that gender, with all rights, privileghes, and legal status as applies to other members of that gender.

Simply put, this would afford transgender persons the same legal rights and protections as afforded other members of the same gender. Currently, many transgender people are unduly denied their rights because of the fuzzy legal status of transgender people.

The nation of Vasharoivia supports the rights of people to express their gender identity openly and freely. As such, we support the proposal at hand. Furthermore, we will gladly extend citizenship to those whose nations do not support the aforementioned proposal.

"The Mighty Nation of Manpouch" offers no support for such twisted mutilation of ones body and will not identify such freakery as the same gender they attemp to mimic.

"The Mighty Manpouch" also will have such freaks of nature barcoded for true gender labeling and not create pathetic protectionism for fringe groups such as this.

"The Mighty Manpouch" Will not have its sovereignty minimized by such petty socialist agendas.

We, the pranksters of the Commonwealth of Moody Pranksters, have declared in our constitution that individuals are recognized by any myriad gender and sexual identifications that are the preference of that individual, the state and medical authorities are forbidden to ascertain the gender of an individual, and can only validate the genetics of such person. Transgendered individuals are accepted as representing any gender that they please, male, female, both, neither or another. We affirm the medical necessities of transsexual persons and are included in all civil and medical liberties. We, furthermore, affirm the rights of an individual to identify with chosen gender with or without surgerical changes being necessary.

And as a corollary, we recognize all marriages between consenting individuals. We extend our laws to all visitors and resident aliens to our Commonwealth. We also recognize any same-sex and transgendered legal definitions of sex or marriage from any other nation where though same legal definitions are in force.

The people of the relatively new Socialist States of Grueland are an open society and require that people are treated with the utmost respect, especially when they are under enormous stress.
Although we have harsh laws and ideals, the peace and contentment of individuals is of paramount importance to us - I am considering legislating tolerance and openness at this very moment, with harsh penalties for people who won't live and let live.

It is about time that the transsexual community is recognised for the people they are, and the system should help and not hinder them.
