With further proof of the UN's corruptive nature I would like to propose the establishment of a new covenant amongst nations.

This League will be guided by the wise and with the purpose of ensuring peace and security. Nations will be allowed to govern as they see fit so long as basic human rights are protected.

We will develop a charter which all nations who join us will be bound to follow. We will also establish an International Law Commission to study and progressively develop international law.

This vision is in its infancy. As of now I would like to see who is interested?

Sounds good in theory but who determines who the "wise" are who will guide the League?

I'm supposing UN members are not allowed? :P

Who ever founds the region for this idea first decides who the 'wise' are I'm guessing.

Plan A would be to reform the UN, which may be very difficult if
not impossible. Ideally the NS UN should resemble the description of
a League of Nations described in the first post.

Plan B would be to form an alliance and call it the League of Nations.
