Yo. No problems here (I hope), just a general question.
So you know that visually distracting Machine Man ad at the top of the NS pages? Well, I clicked the option to remove the ads and read the whole 'hi, I'm Max Berry and blah blah blah you don't have to prove you bought one of my books and blah blah balh please select the book you bought' deal, and clicked on Jennifer Government as the book I had bought.
Except I haven't read any of Max's work and was doing it really as a test to see if there was a catch. I was not expecting it to be as simple and quick as it was, with at least a warning/confirmation page before it actually turned off.
So now the ad is removed, which is nice, but what does being a Max Berry Supporter mean? Is it just a little title with no function or am I bound to an agreement of some sort? Are there any benefits from being a Supporter, and are there any detractions to being one?
Cause I'd like to know. The ad was distracting for me, yeah, but if I'm obligated to buying something or showing/doing something I didn't agree with I'd rather have it turned back on.
