Login via nationstates.net
I can't actually get here via nationstates.net, have to login mnaully via the forums.
Why is this?
Yeah, I don't know what is up. But the direct from NS to Forums link is screwed up.
You get a "unknown error message" with a strange ass URL,

For those that are stuck and cannot get on the Forums,
Try logging in on the forums (I know, it never works) and follow the links to "recover your password". I was surprised, but the process only takes a minute, and works quite well.

Noticed this about 21 hours ago, just assumed it would be better tomorrow, but its not, so here we are...
Huh, well I suppose if the problem is that old, the admins know of its existence by now. They're probably dukeing it out with the code as we speak, no doubt.

Is it a wide spread problem, it seems only three people have noticed it, or mentioned it at least. Then you must figure, some nations don't ever go to the forums, so, if it is not system wide, it may not be very noticeable. Anyway, there is a thread now, so something should happen. Actually it works now so, there you go, problem solved!
I checked out the website. They said jolt is updating and has accidentally cut the connection between nationstates.net and the forum. Theyre working on it. But for now we've got to log in via the forum.

A while ago I tried to change my e-mail address because the original one I used is no longer in use however the e-mail to confirm the change never arrived, so I tried changing it to my alternate address and still it has not came and now I am finding that I cannot log on to the forums via NS website (Checked just a few minutes ago)
I was wondering if it was a glitch that the confirmation e-mail never came or if i just have to wait longer?

Depends. AOL has always been a problem for our emails -- make sure it's a yahoo, hotmail, or gmail account.
As for not being able to sign in from the game to the forum -- that's pretty much universal now. *I've* had that problem for at least a week.

I thought I had answered this but....
It's not working for us either. you need to log into the game to keep your nation alive, and onto the forums with that "Something went Wrong" link.

Our server got itself a second IP address, which hasn't been whitelisted by Jolt yet, so they're blocking some of our auto-login requests. Just gotta wait for 'em to add it, I'm afraid... hopefully won't be too long.
