I like those census reports very much, but unlike NS2, we get restricted to the random census posted daily instead of being able to look at them all.

I think it would be a nice improvement if we could switch bewteen reports, like in NS2 rankings.

If that´s impossible (and i´ll understand if it is), i´d like to ask if would be possible send to me the regional defense force report from east pacific once, or to put it again as next report so i can copy and paste myself...

Its because i had a nice idea concerning our forum RP, but it came only after the report had changed...

Right now that is not possible because only the current report is stored.

I guess what he's saying is, maybe the census for all 16 or whatever different reports could be calculated each day. I don't really know, as our numbers of active nations decrease and technology advances...eh, maybe?

Technology may be advancing but we as players do not know the full capabilities of the servers that run NationStates. Plus, even though the forums are not that active, there are still hundreds of thousands of nations that are active on the NationStates web site, calculating out all 16+ for each of those nations would take quite a bit of processing power.

Not if you we're just calculating for your own region (and the region isn't TOO big).

If you use an offsite program to do that then i'm sure it would be allowed. But hard coding that into the game is something that i'm sure the Admins wouldn't do at all at this point on.

If it's even doable, some of those reports might use stats that aren't in the xml feed.
