Greetings. I hope you are doing well.
I just started playing this game and and I can say that it is very intriguing. But I now have a problem. I have already founded my nation, but what else can I do now?

Please advise. All helpful suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Take care,

Welcome! :)

It really depends on what you want to do next. If you're into roleplay, you'll want to check out the NationStates and International Incidents forums. You can find a region in the game that may allow you to have more roleplaying through the site (and possibly their exterior forum). You'll have issues to resolve, of course. Should you choose, you can join the World Assembly; be advised that you may only have one nation as a WA member at a time. If you're just looking for a place to chat, check out the NationStates General forum.

Thanks for the tip.
But one more thing, how do I make changes to my government's stance on something? I want a Protectorate rather than a Republic and it seems that I may have clicked the wrong stance for drug laws. Is it too late to make the changes?

Thanks again for your time.

You'll make changes to your government's stance by answering issues. But be warned, the effects of your choices will be more extreme than you anticipate.

Your choices will have quick and extreme effects on the issues they deal with, but your government style and Civil Rights/Economy/Political Freedoms values will change fairly slowly. My advice is to experiment with issues for a while and see where you wind up. You can always change course later if you want.
