To any who may be able to help:

I have been a faithful player of NationStates for quite some time, and I am going to be gone for longer than the maximum days allowed before account deletion. I am in the US Military. I will be leaving for Basic Training Monday and I doubt I'll be getting around to loging in befor the 60 days are up. I've put my account in Vacation mode, but iwas wondering if there was any kind of extension for special cases. I like this game and I've worked hard to get my nation to where it is, and I wouldn't like it to get deleted. In fact, If that where to happen, I doubt I would continue to play this game. If any moderators happen upon this please forward to the appropriate persons.

I would appreciate any type of assistance.
Thank You,
The Kingdom of Estis

First, wrong part of the forum.

Second, if you remember your password you can restore your nation from deletion.

If your nation does get deleted for inactivity you can take advantage of the auto-restore feature

i wasn't really sure where to put it, but i felt that the general forums would have the most activity. This way I could possibly get an answer within the hour before I have to go to sleep. :)

(Yes, i am a wimp, and i do have to sleep.)

For future reference, the Technical forum is the one you'll want for issue slike this :)

i was reading the FAQ's, and someone correct me if im wrong but, when i come back and my account has been deleted, all i have to do is to find a moderator (in the Technical Forum) and tell them my nation has been deleted and I would like to have it back and supply the nations name?

It's easier than that. You go to nationstates.net and try to log in (nation name + password) as you would when your nation is active. The game then tells you there is no such nation, but asks if you would like to revive it. You type in your password again, and bingo, you're back in business. These days, you don't need a mod at all (for which we're very grateful).

You'll find you wake up in Lazarus, but it's easy enough to get back to your old region. Just look it up and move there.

In the unlikely event that this doesn't work, then come to this forum and we'll take it from there.
