I've been having a bit of an odd problem for today, not sure if it's at my end or what.

The spotlight on my nation keeps crashing my internet browser. I've done a virus scan, and there doesn't seem to be any problems on my end, but I'm not quite sure, as my aged PC has been having a bit of trouble over the last few days.

Is there anyway NS could be the source of the problem?

I just opened NationStates in IE 7(the horror! the horror!) and had no problems.

It's possible, but hardly likely if no changes have been made in NS recently. I have noticed some new ads on the top, though. It's possible that one of those ads is crashing your IE. If so, downloading the latest Adobe Shockwave plug-in might stop your crashes.

In the past, I have had trouble with NS when my security settings were too high. Specifically, I had the cookie setting high enough to reject the NS session cookie. It resulted in my crashing every time I tried to view an issue.

I've downloaded the latest Adobe thing, and it appears to have sorted out the problem.
