So here I was, typing up a lengthy post of rebutalls, and some window comes up saying something along the lines of "you've already logged in, in another window, please press the back button and reload the page"; so I log out in another window, go back to the login-after-typing-post page, try again this time, and it gives the main message. So I figure I'll press back until I get back to my post... it wasn't there. Only the quote of the post I was responding to. There are multiple problems that combined here...
1. The automatic log-off after half an hour. Couldn't there be a little more time than that?
2. There's no way to find the post when an error you didn't expect comes up. Granted, I should've copied-and-pasted it anyway, seeing as how post delivery isn't exactly all that effective on Internet forums, but couldn't you have something to retain the post you typed, so as to be able to click something from which you could copy it to the clipboard, upon having an error screen? If not, why couldn't you?
3. What exactly is the "you logged in, in another window" error anyway? Why does logging in twice cause a problem? If the computer remembers that I logged in in another window, why can't it remember that I logged in in this one, so as to not have the login screen following the post? This error is news to me; is it an error only of whatever type of forum structure this site has chosen? If so, why has it chosen this forum structure?
EDIT: And why can't you edit subjectlines? I was a bit pissed off when I made the previous subjectline and was thinking of changing it... oh well.
