This may be due to regular maintainance. Don't panic, it should be back up soon.

Fact is that Max valued his site at $100,000, repackaged it all and sold it on as Enhanced Nationstates Leveraged Fund.

Truth is, it's actually only worth $10 and so the whole thing has imploded.

We're going to need $700B from you all to get NS back up online, please donate generously.

Don't panic and leave or we'll really be in trouble.

well i hope its routine maintenance. i normally get on around 23:30 my local time, which again, my local time is about the time the next day's issues are posted, so i can keep up with them and get that over with.

i was going to comment on the oddness that the forums are up just fine, but the nation states 'game' where our nations and regeonal message centers are, is STILL down, well ok, its only been four hours so far since i first tried it.

Maybe Max invested his ad revenue in Lehman Brothers products and cannot pay the hosting fees now.

I'm "somewhere in Ohio" too, I can access it, but I can't post on any of the regional boards ...

Given that you've been posting heavily on your local RMB for the last 4-5 minutes, I'm guessing the issue resolved itself.

Yes it did, the confusion was my correlation incorrectly that my impasse to post on the regional boards was linked with the NS downtime ...

In actuality it was due to the length of the post, so I cut it by half in hypothesis to see if it was indeed the length of my single post ... I was then allowed to actually submit my posting in two parts ...

However, on my end the confusion could have been rectified sooner without a post here on the main board if there was a message indicating I had gone over the limit of characters etc ... instead it would load and then the page would remain loading until it timed out...

RMB = Right Mouse Button?
Regional Messageboard.

In actuality it was due to the length of the post
Our RMBs are designed to hold only the ten latest posts, and then they scroll off into oblivion. They're really suitable only for casual discussion, not massive historical posts. Perhaps your region should consider an offsite forum, like those from Invisionfree.com, for those sorts of ongoing discussions.
