After typing a proposal, I am giving the error message of:

Sorry, there's been a problem with your request.

The name you've supplied isn't valid. It may be too short, or contain illegal characters.

DOes this mean the subject name of the proposal? Because I filled it in as much as it can go (max characters), or does this mean my user name "Them Bones" is too short? I do not understand.

This will be referring to your proposal title. Try using somewhat less than maximum characters. However, I'm going to suggest you draft it in the WA forum before submitting it; it will help your proposal a lot.

I suspect the latter phrase. Most punctuation marks are considered to be illegal characters in titles.
