Do my endorsements from co-WA members in my region travel over with me when I leave that region? Or do they cease to exist.

Just a question I had, not that I was planning on leaving mine.

They cease to exist. Endorsements only count from members in the same region as you.

Note that if your endorsers or endorsees move to the same region at the same time, they don't go away.

Endorsements are reverified at daily update, not move time. If you still share a common region, your endorsements will stick.
