I just reserved my nation name in NS2, and we're within the designated launch window. Can we have an update on this from the NS2 staff, please?

It a-cometh brothers! As prophesized, who would tell. Expecting that update anxiously.

damn it, when did they remove the NS2 forum? I'd like to know what exactly is coming? What new features are we getting - and - is it still going to be free? Oh AND will me post count carry over?

which poses an interesting question: If we get DOS on NS1, does it apply to NS2? and vice versa? Who wants to find out?

Can one reserve the names of puppet nations, or is the whole name reservation thingie just for main nations?

Not that I'm aware of. I've done about 20 already.

I have reserved Miami Shores for NS 2 as well as a few others. But not all of course, lol, as I have too many nations. I hope we get new blood & RW nation names to RP with. Or as close as possible. Like I am sure it was at the beginning of NS 1.

Perhaps the Moderators should limit us to our current nation names for a while per IP address. To encourage new blood to join and create new nations. I know my idea is not popular, just an idea.

Those emails require two pieces - the link from within NS1, and a matching confirmation from NS2. Given that I haven't received any of the 20 or so confirmations I'm expecting, I'm betting the NS2 piece isn't sending anything just yet.

Be patient. It's not like you can use it until they've got the bugs out anyway.

When a game admin responds with different information than a game mod ... the admin's information is quite probably correct and doesn't require interpretation, Miami Shores.

It would appear that some of us are getting mail, and others aren't. Let's just leave it at that, shall we?

I did not mean to question the Mods judgment. I was just pointing out that a certain part was still probably missing.

i had a slight malfunction with my mouse(i hit it) and the email was deleted is there anyway i can get another email sent

I tried registering Jey for NS2 on a Yahoo account around 2 days ago and haven't received an email about it. I've checked my Spam/Trash folders, nothing.

Just to make sure, I tried registering my puppet Universitus University on a gmail account, and the email appeared in minutes.

Is there any way that you could get the link for registration to reappear on my nations page? Or resend my email? Or something?

(Edit: Sorry, just found that this is a known issue in the NS2-A-Cometh thread.)

You can get back to the registration form here (http://www.nationstates.net/page=ns2_registration). If you submit it again, you should get a new e-mail.

yeah thats what happened to me it said id alreadt registered it but i deleted the email accidentaly and need a knew one or something.

Hmmm. I was hoping they'd send you a new e-mail if you hadn't confirmed yet. You'll have to contact OMAC about it then.

I reserved my main nation a couple of days ago. Now I'm checking the NS2 website at least twice a day. Hope they release a date soon.

There's a whole discussion thread about this in the NS2 Forums, along with a Developer Update forum specifically designed to answer questions about that game.

This is NS1. All future NS2 questions should be raised in the NS2 forums.
