I get logged in automatically to NS, but when I come onto the forums I'm not logged in.

It's a common issue. I'm not sure there's a fix.

Log in to the forums manually using your normal NS login. That's what I've been doing for 2-3 years now.

But it's been fine until today. It used to automatically log me in but now if I even visit the normal NS site it logs me out.

Did you change your password today? Clear your cookies? Empty your internet cache?

Any of those could affect your autologin relationship. It's not something that just happens.

Actually, it does appear to be something that just happens.

It's been happening to me from time to time since I first started using NS (it happened just now, for example, and it happened a couple of times last week, but it wasn't happening over the weekend). I've yet to alter my password and my cookies/cache management has remained the same for years, so it's certainly not anything to do with that aspect of things. I suspect that jolt/OMAC just periodically tweak the way that the main NS site interacts with the forums.

It's no biggie, except that it screws up the bolding for threads that I haven't read. *shrug*

For me it started happening a couple of days ago.
Slightly annoying..but not such a big deal.

I don't seem to be able to log in automatically at all at the moment and i seem to get timed out every five to ten minutes, what can i do?

I've been having the same trouble for the past two to three days. Today I found that if I go to the main jolt page (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/index.php) after I've tried and failed to log in, I am magically already logged in by nation name there. Then I click Quick Links/Subscribed Threads, click on an NS forum thread, and I'm logged in on NS.

This is not in any way official.

The timing out thing is sometimes fixed by ticking the "Remember Me?" box in the top right-hand corner on the main Jolt page, not on the NS page.

I have tried ticking the remeber me box but it seems to have no effect.

Thanks for the tip about logging in i'll try that.

Straughn is going through that as well. Each method mentioned above has resulted in the same, squat.
I don't think it's the first time that's been the case for Straughn, though. Just wondering if there's some reason inparticular.
