Custom titles
How does one get them? I've looked in the User CP for a way to change mine. Do you have to have a certain post count (I'm guessing 10,000.)?

It's most likely 10,000 posts.
Now, the mods just have to realize that the huge requirement gives everyone an incentive to spam... >_<

If having your nation deleted and your forum account banned would be what you consider 'trouble', then yes.
And yeah, we'd do that on first offense, no warning.

There's really no rush in custom forum titles, all it gives you a little text box. It's not that special.

I've seen people with way less then 10/20 thousand posts
who had weird bits in their titles.

They changed things. Now, either anyone can add an avatar, or they greatly reduced the number of posts needed (from 10,000 to somewhere below ~350). I'm not claiming credit for the change, but the timing WAS sorta remarkable...

Avatars are currently Jolt-wide. Check the Moderation forum for the discussion. Note that the usual NS rules (re obscenity, etc) will be applied to avatars and custom titles.
