I notice new threads, those started in the last couple of days, have very close posts - view ratios now as opposed to previously where it ran roughly 1:10.

What's changed, is it unique viewers now?

EDIT: It has to be a glitch no, there's no way every thread only has one more viewer per post.

I've speculated that the forum software counts unique viewers as opposed to click-throughs. I've also speculated that the algorithm is flawed, as it clearly doesn't recognize traffic accurately.

I'm further speculating that even if NS mods had access to Jolt Admin functions, we'd still be totally in the dark. It's vBulletin functionality, and we don't have code access to even properly speculate, much less answer your question.
