NationStates Jolt Archive

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but what would it take to get a mobile version of NationStates or NationStates 2? I regularly check my bank account, email, amazon, and other sites on my Blackberry, and it only makes sense to me that the next thing I'd check up on would be my NS account. Lord knows if I wanted to I could check facebook, espn, and a number of other things as well.

Frankly, is this an expensive or complicated process? If not, I think it should be looked into, if not for this version of the game, but the next. Granted the forums would be hard to manage, but the game itself, such as issues and the like, could be made a bit more mobile-friendly.

In all honesty, browsing the forums via blackberry as I'm doing now isn't all that rough. It certainly doesn't look the best but its fully functional. The actual game site www.nationstates.net however fares far worse and is nearly impossible to navigate.

Would it be worth it to redo part of the code, just so a handful of people could use it from their mobile phone?

I use my sidekick LX for nationstates. Daily. It works for the site and the forums just fine.

In my experience, making sites to "mobile" versions just get annoying. Facebook mobile is a prime example.

Mobile NationStates wouldn't be that bad, seeing that it's a very basic site and doesn't have that much to load.
