Wondering if there is a political lean here...

I've only been here for a couple of weeks and have noted that there may perhaps be a political bias embedded here. Before folk go flying off the handle, this is only my inexperienced opinion here. So I am wondering what makes a country what? Since I am not involved in the process that determines what makes a nation a "corrupt dictatorship" (gladly that has not happened to me yet), I am really trying to understand why good decesions turn a country bad. =+P

All decisions you make on issues are slanted to the most extreme angle possible. It's political satire.

Isn't this "simulation" biased towards your politics?

Very possibly. Not intentionally, though. And since there's no ultimate measure of success or failure in NationStates, any bias shouldn't affect much. For example, you don't win the game by having the strongest economy. It just means your nation has a strong economy.

Why is my nation so weird?

Everything is exaggerated a little. Well, okay, a lot. Your decisions affect your nation very strongly, so your country might seem like a more extreme version of what you were aiming for. Unless you have radical politics. In which case you probably think nothing's wrong..
