How the WA Works??

I was just wondering a few things about the WA:

1.) How long do proposals last before they either go to vote after reaching quorum or fizzle away?
2.) How long do proposals stay in queue [assuming that a resolution isn't already at vote]?
3.) How long do they stay at vote?

Thanks!

1) 3-4 days, I think
2) until they get voted through. I saw 4-5 queued once.
3) 3-4 days, I think

1.) How long do proposals last before they either go to vote after reaching quorum or fizzle away?If you submit something Monday morning, it's gone by Thursday night. If it doesn't reach quorum, that is.

2.) How long do proposals stay in queue [assuming that a resolution isn't already at vote]?If something isn't already at vote, it goes to vote at the update that evening.

3.) How long do they stay at vote?Pacific time, if it goes to vote early Monday morning, it will stay at vote till late Friday morning. So 4 days and change.

I think both Fris and Kenny are right, but Kenny just got a resolution on the floor (so his numbers are pretty solid). The reason the numbers are not exact, it the time in the proposal queue depends upon when you submit your proposal relative to the WA updates.

I call the "List proposals" area the "proposal queue" where any proposal waits until it reaches a "quorum" of WA Delegate endorsements. Proposals that have already established a quorum will move to the front of the proposal queue and wait in the order of submission along with other proposals that reached quorum (this area I call the "resolution queue" -- proposals here are usually just waiting to become resolutions) -or- will jump directly to the WA floor the morning (PST) that no other resolution is on the floor. (The way I like to think of it, the resolution queue is actually a sub-set of the proposal queue, and doesn't always exist.) The minute a proposal transitions from the proposal queue (even if it has been sitting there for a week), I like to then call them "resolutions". Technically the game moderators can delete proposals sitting in the resolution queue. Only one resolution can sit on the WA floor at a time.

I call anything that reaches the WA floor a resolution. If it fails, all references to it are essentially lost to the game. It gets no number, and is just a memory. If it passes, it is then numbered. I call these "adopted resolutions".

These are just my names. :)
