Everytime I try to log into one of my nations, I log in, but then as soon as i press any other link on the nation page i'm automatically logged out. Any insights? Thank you.

You're not using a web accelerator, are you? Sometimes that causes interesting problems....

I don't think so.

It's a cache issue. Either you've recently logged on to another puppet and your browser is remembering those pages, or perhaps your login cookie isn't cached properly.
1. Clear your temporary files and close your browser. Restart it. Log in, and see if that worked.
2. If that didn't do the trick, go to your settings and set "Log in automatically? = no". Save. Exit your browser and launch it again, and change your settings back to "Log in automatically? = yes". That ought to do it.

Still no luck, and I can't access the settings page, all I can do is get to the nation screen when you first log in. The second I click to another link it logs me out.

Did you disable cookies on this site, or on your machine? You need a login cookie to stay logged on.
If you didn't disable them, maybe one became corrupt. Look for cookies from nationstates.net or www.nationstates.net and delete them.

If this only happens once -- i.e. if you manually log in again, it's fine from then on -- it might be because if the page you've bookmarked. If, for example, you have bookmarked the IP address (69.60.14.82), or nationstates.net without the www, then your login cookie is associated with that address. When you click a link on the site, it's to www.nationstates.net, and even though that's the same server, your browser sees it as a different machine and won't send us the cookie, requiring you to manually log in.
So make sure your first visit is indeed to www.nationstates.net.

I did have the page bookmarked but I never would really use the bookmark, I've since removed it and cleared all my cookies and the problem still is occuring
thanks for all the help so far though :)
