Problem posting in the RMB

Dear moderators,

Several nations in my region are experience problems posting in the RMB. At first, I did not give it relevance because I though it was a problem of one nation (probably due to the PC or the IE/Firefox browser). But now I am getting telegrams from a couple of nations asking me if I erased their post from the RMB. Moreover, this happened to me this morning!

At usual, once the "Lodge Message" button is pressed, the text "Your message has been lodged!" appears. However, sometimes, if after posting your message you go back to your nation and then you return to the regional page, you will find out that your post is not longer there.

I think this problem is not about pressing the buttons "Back and Foward" of the browser, because even if you do it, the next time you log-in your post will be there. I believe its more related with the "Tabs" system that some browsers are using (I personally use Firefox 2.0.0.13; I dont know the other nations).

Any help please?
Thanks!

Honestly, this sounds like a caching error on your end, or possibly from using a web accelerator. We've got an anti-caching URL built in to the game to aid in this. You've probably seen this sort of thing: nationstates.net/10882/page=un. If you change the 5 digit number and reload the page, that should avoid any local or web caches and show your content.

If that doesn't work, file a Getting Help request from the nation having the issue. Include the text you tried to post, and check the Regional Messageboard checkbox after inputing the name of the region in question.

If we can see the text in the snapshot, the problem is on your end. If not, we've got a new bug to chase.

Definitely sounds like a caching problem. Would be interested in hearing which ISP you're using. If it's $%!@ing AOL...

I'm not having the problem, and I do use AOL at present.

Thanks for the help!

I am not using any web accelerator. If this happens again, I will proceed as you told me.
