I've noticed lately that when i decide on a issue, i come back to see that it's results are not the decision I picked. Just the other day, i decided that people should pay for their crimes by flogging and other stuff like that (yeah, i'm a wacko :O) and I come back today and see this.
and long arduous trials are held for the most trivial of offences

which i know i did NOT pick. This has been happening to me multiple times.
