Hi, i have an idea, everytime i add a law, the oldest one disapears, and it seems thet i wont see it again although its still active.

my sugestion is to make a Constitution, so that you be able to see every law you choose from the issues...like "what was my first decision in the game?" i go the the "Constitution" tab, and voilá there it is, the first law side by side with the other ones...

i think it wouldnt be too dificult to do, and it would be a good improvement..

answers please:)

Every few days, copy what you have displayed on your main page in reguards to the "laws" and paste them into Word, Wordpad, or Notepad.

And they may add something like this into NationStates 2 when (and if) it gets released, but I doubt they will add something like that into NationStates.

Actually I believe this idea has been flat out rejected due to the space that would be needed to store the information.

not too many space... every issue is a number and the only thing is stored in the server is numbers wich nation has...thn the code would do the rest, translating the numbers inte the issues themselves...

not dificult, any coder would sove the problem in no time...;)

First off, the server has run out of hard drive space before. In fact, it's happened three times.

Secondly, this has been suggested several times before and it's always been rejected due to the amount of space that would be needed to store the information. Just look at my nation, I've been playing for 4 years at 2 issues a day the whole time. That's 1460 issues a year for me, after 4 years, it adds up to 5840 issues. Then you multiply that by the thousands of nations out there, and you see why space becomes a problem.

not dificult, any coder would sove the problem in no time...;)If I were you, I wouldn't be making any claims as to how difficult altering the code here would be. Firstly, you don't have access to the code so you have no idea how easy or difficult it would be. Second, a lot of the original code was written by an author not a programmer. Besides, our admin staff are volunteers, and they take an "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality to the game.

Then you multiply that by the thousands of nations out there,

Try "millions". Since we allow old nations to be restored, code changes apply to ALL nations, not just living ones. I'm sure we're over two million now. It might be three million.
