This isn't that big a deal... but wouldn't it have been more realistic to have populations start at 500,000 and grow in increments of 100,000- even 10,000?
Some of these nations have populations in the hundreds of billions!

It's no big deal, but it might look better in any future incarnations to change the growth rate (of course this is impractical for now as it would be unfair to new nations and doing it retroactively would irritate a lot of old nations).

Yea! Like nobody! The Macabees has a population of a little over 10 billion, and TM is from June 2003. I think there are some November 2002 nations left alive (not sure), but they should only be at around 11.5 billion to 12 billion.

The problem isn't the growth rate; it's that some of us has been around for 4 years or more.

Nah, they should totally reduce everyone's population to five million again, like they did in '04.... that was awesome!

the big populations do make things unrealistic. There must be thousands of nations that are planet-sized.

You're looking at nations who have been on the site for years -- and no one has a population of the hundreds of billions.

Good point. I guess single nations as big as 2 planets aren't any worse than helicopters that move whole nations to other regions. :p
