I seem to have been stricken with an odd bug, as my income tax(formerly about 8%) has gone straght to 0, and I don't think my most recent issue choices should have dropped it that far.

In addition, according to NSTracker.org (http://peachiekeen.net/nstracker/index.php), my population is growing much faster than it should be(it appears to have doubbled its growth rate).

I know this isn't the kind of stuff most would complain about, but on the off chance it's a symptom of something bad happening, I figured I'd mention it.

"Citizens must pay to enjoy Sehvekah's pristine beaches, private business has started paving paradises and putting up parking lots, the government has cut its subsidies for all special interest groups" All of those will likely drop your tax rate.

Also, your nation is just shy of 5 years old. Average growth is 2 billion per year. You look to be about six months ahead of schedule. Either you were very lucky with your growth, or you briefly had the pop bug. I certainly wouldn't worry about it.

OK. I still don't remember those particular issues, even together, having that big an impact(I managed to fight my tax down from 100% about 8 months ago), but I suppose it's not that big a deal.

As for the pop growth, I've always thought it to be a bit over 2 billion per year(at least it's always been my experience that, as each year passes, my nation has always gained a little over the 2 billion). The main reason I brought it up is because the NSTracker graph is blatently clear that pop growth has markedly increaced in the last ~11 days or so.

Not trying to be a pain in the rear, and since it's aparently a benign issue, this will likely be the last I mention of it. I just wanted to clarify a couple things is all.

Well... NSTracker is a third party program. The easiest way to see if your population is growing out of whack would be to simply monitor your growth yourself. If you're getting more than 8 million per day, then something is up.
