I can go on the forum while logged into my nation as well as on other computers, but while not on my account I get

"You have been banned
Reason: No reason specified
Date the ban will be lifited: Never"

Was I accidentally confused for an IP that was causing problems?

That's the standard message you get when you try to log on with a dead nation. I'm betting one of your dead puppets left a cookie on your system. Try deleting all cookies from "jolt.co.uk". You should be clear to read the forums now, and when you log in again with your nation it will continue to be visible.
