Just out of interest, how is the feature region chosen?

It just that Pirate Cove has been chosen 3 times in as many months. I haven’t got a problem with this, but there are thousands of regions and I just wondered.

It's random, with a few parameters like [size > 4], I think. May be others. Neither mods nor players can influence the choice.

If I recall correctly, regions with a password can't become a Featured Region.
