Hello,

Ok so I'm new to this whole thing, just one question - I'm currently in Pacific which is the grassroot for all new nations, granted... but on my regions page it says Alert Status: High.

What's alert status? I've looked in the FAQ's but can't seem to find anything about it?

The top of the region page can be set by the delegate (and for regions who have one, a founder, but that's note the case for The Pacific) at whim. The Delegate of The Pacific has decided there should be something called an 'alert status' (that's not part of the coded game, just something he/she made up) and has decided to display it on the regional page. It means whatever the delegate wants it to mean, so the delegate is the one to ask. You also might want to check the regional forum for The Pacific, it might have some further information on what the delegate is trying to communicate to the region.

Seems a tad odd though, to broadcast an 'alert status' without making it clear what it means. "The bunny alert is fuchsia! I repeat... Fuchsia!" :)
