You need to turn on signatures in your profile, my dear.

EDIT -- woohoo! My thread!

go to your user CP. Turn Signatures on. There, problem solved.

I keep hearing people talking about siggable quotes, and referring to their quotes for links, advice, etc. I can't see any of them; does anyone know why this is?

I use Firefox, if that matters.

Oh. I thought that was automatic. Well, I think this thread can be considered closed. I'll lend the extra space to anyone who wants to spout off a diatribe, as long as they don't expect anyone to listen to it.

EDIT: Hey, I'm in the same time zone as Casablanca! How exotic...

Oh, the siggy has a size limit. Look how long my siggy is ... it's always at the limit.

The standard is eight lines.

I should note that a few people (like me) don't have standard signature lines, and so the lack of a sig block after one of my posts is perfectly normal. If I didn't need one from May 2003 to July 2004, I don't need one now. :)

I can't figure out whether that's extreme modesty or extreme hubris (as in Oscar Wilde's Not to know me argues yourself unknown.):D

I think you should adopt a neat, discreet little sig that just says "NS Guru".
