So there are quite a few regions in the region list. That's good and bad. Good because the simulation is growing. Bad because there's a couple dozen regions with one person and titled "000000" or "0000001216584312" Wouldn't it be more effective have letter shortcuts at the bottom of the page instead of page numbers?

It would allow for quicker navigation and the bypassing of inactive and poorly named regions.

Also, would it be possible to list regions by a commonality? Like listing dictatorial-themed nations together?

Because of the way regions are stored, the sorting system you describe is not a practical solution. There's a functional search system for regions. Try that.

let's forget the last part of my suggestion, what about just being able to click "A" and being able to see a list of regions starting with "A"
